BLOOMING BUDS Play School was started by AFWWA(L) AFAC in 2005 to cater to the developmental needs of pre-schoolers. The school has distinguished itself as numero uno preparatory school in Coimbatore.
Since its inception, the play school has been recognised for effectively preparing the pre-schoolers for regular schooling. The friendly learning environment, teaching techniques, play way method and well trained staff helps consolidate learning and ensures overall development of the tiny tots.
To aid the envisaged task, AFFWA(L) AFAC has constantly strived to upgrade the infrastructure and facilities at BBPS. The developmental needs of pre-schoolers being core area of attention calls for many facilities specially designed for this defining stage of learning. The high cost of modern equipment is well justified by the cause that they serve.
Our mission is to lay a well thought foundation for each student to ensure a strong base which will make future learning easier and a provide value system. To pursue this we seek indulgence of family, educators, medical/mental health providers and build upon the strengths of the children. Contributed by trained teachers we enable holistic growth of the child. The learning environment at BBPS comprises of teaching aids, indulgence of educators, well researched activities, visits and participation of parents to ensure sound footing for the preschooler.

BBPS has dedicated trained teachers closely supervised by the School in Charge to provide for 120 students. Additionally one female helper helps the students in each class.
An effective management team is essential for the proper functioning of a school. At BBPS, the management shoulders responsibility for important activities of the school such as enrolling students in the specific admissions, recruiting teachers, scheduling the classes, allocating teachers to the specific classes and also supervises the implementation of learning modules. Teachers of BBPS are trained to meet the 21st century requirements by Educational Experts.
Features
A school assembly is a gathering of all or part of a school for any variety of purposes such as special programmes or communicating information on a daily or weekly basis. Students gather to perform a common song or prayer and to receive common announcements.
A routine attendance check is also be done in such gatherings. At larger schools, these morning rituals may substituted by smaller classroom assemblies and announcements broadcast over a public address system. Periodic school assemblies are also a forum for special presenters of education, health, safety materials for school play and talent shows.
A well planned and equipped Activity room provides a stimulating environment for children and aids spontaneous learning. At BBPS we provide opportunities for imaginative role-play both individually and as part of the group. Through activities and conversations, preschoolers learn acceptable ways to express their feelings and learn to listen to others. The Activity room is used to give a real-time exposure to children about working in the Kitchen, Doctor’s Clinic, Theatre, Role Play Corner and Supermarket.
Even kids with no exposure to pet animals or nature in their home have an opportunity to see, feel, touch and make connections with the interesting world of animals. Observing and caring for an animal makes the child sensitive, instills a sense of responsibility towards nature and respect for every living being. BBPS has pets to address this need.
Sand Pit play area is a specially catered facility to promote physical development. It aids the motor skills to develop as children dig, pour, sift, scoop and clean up spills with brush and dustpan. It also improves social skills, bonding, eye-hand coordination and small muscle control as children learn to manipulate sand accessories.
Children will be children… bruised elbows, an occasional ill health are all part of school life. Thus BBPS has a well equipped child friendly Infirmary. This provides supervised first aid to the student in need. The Infirmary or the sick room also doubles up a relaxing room for the students, not just when they are ill but also when they need to calm down. A doctor in case of emergency is just a call away and is always available.
The Music Room is equipped with quality string, percussion and key-based instruments, allowing children to tap and explore their musical talent. The room provides vocal training sessions. Qualified music/dance teacher guides student in their musical pursuit.
Playtime is an important aspect of every child’s day routine. Children are busy when they are playing and they are learning when they play. A playground/play park or play area has been specifically designed to enable children to play outdoors. It is specially designed for children of all age groups.
Toys are part of a child’s world. The toys make the children creative, imaginative and makes them tough. A well equipped Toy room is the center of attraction at BBPS. The Toy room facilitates learning through good quality toys and puzzles. Children handle toys, pour, bounce, hide, build, knock down, climb, run and role-play which enhances their learning.
